Our procedures follow the guidelines, including:

  • Criminal Record and barring checks (DBS)
  • Verification of Identity checks
  • Rights to work checks
  • Professional registration & qualification checks
  • Employment history & reference checks
  • Immunisations ad Health Checks

We check validity of IDs or passports and rights to work through passport scanner. Previous and current work references are verified. Staff are only put out for shift after DBS clearance, mandatory training (safeguarding vulnerable adults, manual handling, Basic or Intermediate Life Support, PMVA / PSTS among others), proof of NMC registration and online verification and Work Health assessments are completed.
